Product Description
The TNT Magnetics CK3-300 is a heavy-duty 3H 300mA high-current filter choke designed for high-powered valve guitar and bass amplifier power supplies.
With a substantial 300mA DC current rating, the CK3-300 is suitable for amplifier designs requiring considerably greater current capacity than conventional 50mA and 90mA guitar amplifier chokes.
The CK3-300 is particularly well suited to 100W-class valve amplifiers, four-output-valve designs, KT88 and 6550 amplifiers, high-powered bass amplifiers and custom high-current valve amplifier power supplies.
Used as part of a choke-filtered B+ supply, it provides effective power supply smoothing to help reduce ripple and hum while providing the current capacity required by demanding high-powered valve amplifier designs.
Suitable for new amplifier builds, restorations, modifications and custom valve amplifier projects.
