The Celestion CF0820M is a high-performance 8-inch dedicated midrange driver designed for professional PA, multi-way loudspeaker and high-output audio systems.
With an impressive 98dB sensitivity and a wide 150Hz–6kHz frequency range, the CF0820M delivers excellent efficiency, clarity and projection through the critical midrange frequencies.
Built around a rigid cast aluminium chassis and powerful ferrite magnet assembly, the CF0820M features a 2-inch copper-clad aluminium voice coil with a 250W AES power rating and 500W continuous power handling.
A copper-sleeved pole piece helps reduce inductive rise at higher frequencies, improving the driver's upper-midrange performance and maintaining a more controlled response. The airflow-vented design also assists with heat dispersion from the voice coil during sustained high-output operation.
Its narrow-edged cast chassis allows drivers to be mounted closely together, making the CF0820M particularly well suited to compact multi-driver and professional loudspeaker designs.
